Kevin Reimer was born in Castlegar and spent much of his childhood in Langley before making his way to Vancouver.
With a passion for food, Kevin took a variety of cooking classes and courses before building a career in the culinary industry. He went on to become a Chef for over 20 years, gaining extensive experience in fast-paced, high-level kitchens moving his way up to an Executive Chef. While he loved the work, the long hours eventually led him to look for a change. Most importantly, he wanted the opportunity to spend more quality time with his daughter as she grows up.
Today, Kevin is the Senior Community Coordinator at Pavilion Cowork’s East 5th location and is preparing for his next chapter as Community Manager at Pavilion’s upcoming West Georgia location. His day-to-day work includes welcoming and onboarding new members, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring members receive an exceptional level of hospitality and support.
As Kevin transitions to West Georgia, he’ll play an important role in bringing the new location to life and preparing the space for members. Located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, Kevin hopes to create an elevated and professional environment where members feel welcomed from the moment they walk through the doors. Once they’re settled in, he wants the space to help put them in the right mindset to focus, connect, and have a productive day.
Of course, Kevin also knows just how much E5th members love the pancakes at The Monthly Stack! One question he gets often is whether he’ll continue hosting the event at E5th, and, more importantly, whether those famous pancakes will make their way to West Georgia too. While a new location means new opportunities, Kevin is looking forward to creating member events and traditions that bring people together and help build a strong sense of community at West Georgia.
If you see Kevin around the office, make sure to say hello!
